We are looking for candidates with strong knowledge and passion for building web-based tooling using SAP UI5 or similar UI frameworks in SAP Datasphere product. The portfolio includes building simple to use graphical user interface for modeling, scheduling/monitoring of jobs and other Warehousing and ETL functionalities. The job not only offers quite a challenge in terms of graphical tool building, but great learning opportunity in the data warehousing and data integration space.

SAP Datasphere is a comprehensive data service built on SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) that enables every data professional to deliver seamless and scalable access to mission-critical business data. With a unified experience for data integration, data cataloging, semantic modeling, data warehousing, data federation, and data virtualization, SAP Datasphere enables data professionals to easily distribute mission-critical business data with business context and logic preserved across the data landscape.

What youll do

• You will work with a team of highly technical and motivated developers.

• Collaborate and work with teams spread across geographies and time zones.

• You will be significantly involved in the development and design of our software products.

• Own your code from ideation to development, and through QA and support.

• Build an end-to-end understanding of features across various components.

• Adhere to the practices and processes followed by the team.

What you bring

• Engineering graduate with 3 - 6 years of overall software development experience

• Hands on experience in building Web applications using SAP UI5 (or other UI technology), OO JavaScript, Typescript, HTML5, CSS, ReactJs and AngularJs

• Proficiency in Object Oriented Programming Principles, Design Patterns, coding best practices

• Experience in writing tests e2e and unit tests.

• Experience on cloud-based application development is an advantage.

• Knowledge on RDBMS and/or NodeJS based backend development would be an advantage.
