PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP Cloud Service Center (CSC) is part of the global organization within SAP Innovative Business Solutions dedicated to delivering innovative custom solutions to meet our customers’ unique business process needs with SAP’s Cloud Portfolio Products like SuccessFactors, Concur, Ariba, Business ByDesign, Cloud for Customer, and Hybris.
CSC India organization helps customers from South East Asia, Australia, New Zealand and India to maximize the value of their Cloud investments and ultimately help enhance their competitive advantage.
CSC is one amongst the very few teams in Labs India which gives you an exposure like a software enterprise – combining the best of Product Development and Service based Project Delivery – and has Sales/Presales functions apart from Software Development/Delivery & Support in its portfolio. You will be involved right from Business Development to Competitive Bidding, Signing Customer Contracts to Project Delivery, Go-Live and Support. The team’s success is measured by effectively leveraging on the ability to deliver projects on-time, on-budget and with superior quality.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Very good hands-on experience in business requirement engineering and mapping it to SAP Solutions and Industry Processes (ECC, S/4 HANA, C/4 HANA, SAP Cloud Products and SAP Cloud Platform)
Broad background including business process consulting, enterprise application development for SAP Products and Solutions.
Proven expertise in requirement gathering, backlog prioritization, managing delivery and support for complex enterprise solutions of significant size, scope and complexity
Proven experience in making functional solution proposals (MVP) that meets business needs and drive business value engineering.
Strong team orientation and ability to thrive on virtual, international, cross-functional teams and good customer facing experience.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Lead an opportunity (Cloud Application Development) and collaborate with customer and project teams in arriving at solution architecture and step-in into the blueprinting of the solution and develop custom solution in harmony with SAP Solutions.
Lead the requirement engineering customer workshops (functional and non-functional) with customers and create vision and scope, product backlogs, estimates in alignment with expected business value and budget.
Act as a liaison between the customer and various teams to realize the customer requirements during project execution in external scrum/agile delivery. Manage the Product Backlog and work on sprint planning.
Develops test cases and/or conducts expert testing and validates planned and implemented scope throughout project lifecycle and ensures delivery of high quality software. Accepts or rejects sprint results on a Scrum level
At least 12 years of relevant customer facing experience as product owner / business analyst.
Have strong technical aptitude and curiosity to learn new topics
Knowledge of the development processes at SAP (e.g. Innovation Cycle; Portfolio Process)
Certifications (Preferred): PMI-PBA, Certified Scrum Product Owner, Certified SAP Consultant in more than one SAP Solutions.
Lead the pre-sales discussions and perform customer demos and support opportunity phases.
Work with cross-functional teams, sales & presales, SAP development teams, external partners and customers. Promoting business vision across the project team.
Work closely with UX Experts, Technical Architects, Project Managers, Developers and Quality Assurance, to coordinate the delivery of quality functional solutions that meets customer expectation and business value.
Lead the estimation process during the opportunity phase according to CSC best practices and successfully work with all the stakeholders involved such as client partners, account teams, solution architects etc.
Integrating customer feedback from post-sprint testing into the Product Backlog while ensuring scope creep is handled via scope swap or change request.
