PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

SAP as leading provider of intelligent enterprise application software seeks to constantly develop its product portfolio. Partners play a substantial role in driving product innovation and sales revenue growth. The Global Partner Operations (GPO) organization is responsible for driving indirect revenues via different routes to market under SAP’s Partner Edge Program, e.g. via VAR’s (Value Added Resellers), distributers, Partner Managed Cloud (PMC), Independent Software Providers (ISV), and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) partners.

Main objective of the Global ISV and OEM organization within GPO is to enable and support the Greater China region to build new SAP partnerships in those two New Routes to Market and is therefore looking for a Head of the ISV & OEM Business.

The role has the overall business responsibility and acts as ISV and OEM strategic enabler for the region. The Head of ISV and OEM Business reports to the Global Head of ISV and OEM in GPO SAP and works collaboratively with the local SAP business leaders to develop a strong partner ecosystem with a heavy focus on recruiting new partners and helping partners adopt and then monetize SAP technologies.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Full ISV/OEM Business responsibility for the Region Greater China

  • Build and Develop the ISV/OEM partner ecosystem market in Greater China, with a heavy emphasis on partner success.

  • Leverage on delivery models like ISV/OEM and decide about best solution for our partners and customers and leveraging the global ISV/OEM pre-sales, GTM and enablement teams to build long term partnerships

  • Leverage collaboration across ISV/OEM and Platform teams to drive Co-Innovation

  • Build and manage a high-performance team that drives business development, partner adoption of the intelligent enterprise and partners success with SAP technologies

  • Manage, measure, and execute targeted and compelling business plans to grow partners pipeline and achieve revenue goals and to support SAP partners adoption and monetization of SAP intelligent enterprise solutions

  • Develop strong, credible relationships between the global ISV/OEM team and collaborate closely with Region and MU Sales teams to build lasting partnerships and to drive business

  • Forecast current and subsequent quarter ISV/OEM revenues to Executives on all levels

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • The position requires a minimum of 10-15 years’ experience in large, multi-national software/technology organizations – developing and executing large scale business plans and programs.

  • Long leadership and experience in managing business and teams with strong enterprise experience, business development and executed in a global matrix organization.

  • Understanding of software development/decision making processes and sound level of technical understanding in IT Deployment and Operation Models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)Previous experience in a fast paced, highly changing environment, preferably in ISV, OEM and Partner Private Cloud models.

  • Demonstrated success in developing a partner ecosystem in ISV/OEM routes to market.

  • Solid Partner Ecosystem and Solutions Management network.

  • Demonstrated international and multi-cultural skills.

  • Strong English and Chinese speaking skills;
