PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

GCO Controlling supports the Management Team by driving SAP´s financial planning and steering processes, providing transparency through establishing a comprehensive controlling environment, supporting performance management and business decision making as well as execution of SAP´s strategy.The department co-ordinates all management reporting and accounting issues, including management reporting to support business decision making and transformation, monthly financial forecasts and budgeting.

We are looking for a GCO Controller to assist our Team with Cost control, Cloud revenue and reporting activities

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Actively leads various activities to ensure overall financial performance, such as quarter end close, financial forecast, budgeting and SOX Controls

  • Performs cost analysis, monthly accruals and expense reclassifications

  • Support actual analysis and quarter-end closing activities and reporting

  • Generate periodic reports for the business teams and provide follow up analysis as needed

  • Financial master data management

  • Work closely and in an effective collaboration with related business stakeholders as a “Trusted Business Advisor” by understanding the business needs and supporting them in their controlling requirements.

  • Ensure clear communication and transparency

  • Ensure adherence to all EMEA reporting deadlines budget, forecast, latest estimate and QFR

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • University degree, preferably in Finance / Controlling

  • Thriving in a challenging environment

  • Excellent analytical skills combined with a sound of knowledge of a variety of controlling instruments and a solid basis in accounting

  • Proficient in French and English, both written and spoken and good written and verbal communication

  • Advanced MS Office skills (especially Excel/PowerPoint)

  • Ability to work in a team

  • Very proactive, independent as well as professional

WORK EXPERIENCE

2 years of professional experience in controlling, SAP skill is an advantage

The monthly base salary for this position is at least 1,800 eur.
