In Brno branch you will be part of SAP Labs Network. SAP Labs are research and development locations that build and improve SAP core products. With 20 labs in 17 countries, SAP Labs drive thought leadership globally as well as in their local ecosystems, allowing SAP to innovate, grow, and succeed.

One of the growing areas in our Brno Lab is the S/4HANA Public Cloud Development, the SAP flag ship in Public Cloud. Developers are directly involved in the newest products, which SAP plans to bring to market, using the latest technology such as AI, in-memory computing, cloud-based applications, and advanced user interfaces. Part of S/4HANA is Revenue Recognition solution covering necessary processes in various financial and supply chain areas.

For this development team we are looking for fresh graduates or people at the beginning of their careers.

What you'll do

We are looking for a passionate Junior Quality Engineer for our team in Brno to work on global projects in revenue recognition in the agile environment with experienced colleagues. Your responsibility as a Quality Engineer will be covering all quality relevant stages and tasks within development cycle such as:

  • Take over responsibility for tests organization, execution, administration, implementation, and review.

  • Overall quality assurance monitoring including clean desk principles.

  • Support the team in quality-related tasks and make sure that those tasks are part of the backlog.

  • Reporting on quality relevant objectives to the team, other stakeholders, and management.

  • Testing cross-browser, cross-platform, and/or cross-device compatibility for inconsistencies.

  • Regular functionality or regression testing.

  • JIRA awareness and ability to adjust to agile semi-scrum approach the team is working in.

What you bring:

  • University degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, economy or to finance related field.

  • Experience with agile software development.

  • Understanding of the unit testing and overall test automation purpose.

  • Having a logical approach to problem solving and ability to respond to detailed queries.

  • Ability and willingness to build knowledge in financial business applications.

  • Ability to work in an international setup and with remote development teams and stakeholders.

  • Good communications skills, team player, strong quality focus and service mindset.

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).

  • Familiarity with various testing techniques.

  • Experience with SAP solutions, particularly Financials is welcome.

Meet your team

The revenue recognition development is set up with teams in Brno and Walldorf (Germany). A close cooperation between the teams is key and you will work in an international environment directly together with colleagues from other locations. We work in cross functional teams applying methods of agile software development.

We are mainly looking for fresh graduates or people at the beginning of their careers to work as associate quality engineer in one of our scrum teams. Accompanied by experienced colleagues and managers, you will be able to enrich your gained knowledge and start or continue with your professional career as Quality Associate, allowing you to pick up substantial knowledge about SAPs product and processes.
