What youll do

Provides product and business process consulting assistance to sales team members to facilitate closing sales. Understands each clients buying criteria and demonstrates how Concurs solutions can address their requirements.

  • Build and maintain a thorough knowledge of all Concur products and services

  • Deliver tailored demonstrations of all Concur products

  • Prepare effective demonstrations: review each prospects requirements with the relevant salesperson; configure the demonstration site to best address the prospects needs; research competitive strengths and weaknesses; ensure demonstrations are free of complications.

  • Explain how data can be transferred from Concur to other applications in the clients environment

  • Understand each prospects implementation needs and position a suitable deployment approach

  • Undertake other sales focused activities such as completing Requests for Proposal (RFP) and Requests for Information (RFI)

  • Provide advice and guidance to other Solution Consultants as requested.

  • Educate the wider sales team about changes in Concurs solution

  • Assist at tradeshows and user conferences.

  • Provide input on prospect requirements/concerns to Product Marketing

  • Operate under moderate supervision.

  • Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies.

What you bring

  • Experience in pre-sales (Solutions Consulting) function

  • Demonstrated experience in making formal presentations including ability to quickly redesign presentations and reconfigure software.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Uses professional concepts to solve a wide range of difficult problems in imaginative and practical ways.

  • Self-starter, able to find answers and solve problems independently.

  • Interacts with prospects at all levels in order to illustrate the value & benefits of the proposed solutions.

  • Interacts with other Concur employees at all levels.

  • Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent experience

  • Travels up to 40% of time.
