Market Development Representative
Concur is a leading provider of integrated travel and expense management solutions. The Market Development Representative is responsible for supporting the Sales department through pipeline generation. This includes qualification of inbound and outbound leads via the phone, web, email, corporate events, and direct mail campaigns. The Market Development Representative is also responsible for proactive lead generation. The Market Development Representative reports to the Market Development Team Leader. This role presents an excellent opportunity for an ambitious candidate to join a rapidly growing cloud technology company.
Proactively calling into accounts in order to generate appointments for the sales team
Qualification and nurture of inbound leads through to appointment stage
Contact data from internal CRM system (Salesforce.com). The candidate will also be expected to research prospective companies to obtain contact details and other basic profile information
Follow-up on specific marketing campaigns
Overcome objections and effectively communicate Concur’s value propositions to key decision makers.
Collate information on prospective clients, even when an appointment is not obtained
Maintain strong relationships by working closely with sales team
Achieve monthly accepted appointment targets.
Operates under supervision with frequent reviews of work.
Log all calls in CRM (Salesforce.com) and monitors success rates
Position Requirements: Education, Experience & Training required:
Intelligent and able to assimilate information quickly
Excellent oral and written communication skills and superb listening skills
Professional phone manner with a consultative approach and tone of voice
Highly organised and self motivated with the ability to prioritise tasks
Confident in overcoming rejection and setting challenging goals on a daily basis
Ability to pass a background check
