Technical Consultants role is to assist clients and SAP Concur project teams in implementing SAP Concur Travel & Expense Management SaaS applications. The Mexican team projects are spread across SAP Concur LATAM North countries (Mexico, Colombia, Equador, etc…), however with a core based in Mexico. For this reason, it is fundamental that we hire a new Technical Consultant who will display excellent team-player features, while we are offering a friendly, informal, innovative, out-of-the-box, agile work approach. The Technical Consultant is responsible for managing and completing multiple projects simultaneously and independently
In this role, it is crucial that the Technical Consultant possesses excellent communication skills as needed in order to communicate with many other organizations within SAP Concur – Support, Account Management, Sales/Pre-sales, Research and Development, QA...
The Technical Consultant must be already living in the Mexico City or considering a relocation to Mexico City.
Consult on and handle implementations (as part of SAP Concur Implementation Project team); provide technical expertise on integrations, feeds, loads and extracts
Handle the setup and scheduling of all interfaces and system jobs
Provide client/internal team expertise & support for troubleshooting of technical issues related to the SAP Concur T&E interface
Lead client knowledge transfer/training sessions with client technical resources both remote and on-site if needed
Assist customers with setup of Single Sign-on and assist in solving performance issues
Gather functional and business requirements from client and translate them into a functional and technical solution design according to client needs and scope of Concur products/services
Manage the expectations of the client (internal and external) with regard to project objectives, deliverables, timeframes, etc. by understanding the key business drivers and their prioritization.
Utilize technical skills in supporting client testing efforts: research complex customer problems, issues, and circumstances and provide recommendations, alternatives, and risk assessments to client´s project manager
Able to logically troubleshoot issues and determine the appropriate action to take or when escalation is required
Bachelor degree in an IT / technical field or equivalent experience would be preferred
Three to six years experience in a software technical support environment, troubleshooting or system testing skills; Software consulting / Project Management
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Fluency in English and Spanish and Portuguese is a differential
Database knowledge (SQL), HTML, SSO (single sign-on) (SAML), integration technologies understanding and preferably hands on practice are necessary.
Ability to plan, organize and prioritize
Ability to build great client relationships
Affinity for technology
Ability to work in a team environment, but also capable of taking ownership of some projects; ability to work in a matrix structure
