The Senior Software Engineer enhances and maintains the SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing Platform and associated applications.

  • Assist with the triage, analysis, and resolution of Sustaining Engineering (Production Support) issues.

  • Work with developers across multiple teams to implement data model changes. Become a domain expert within the Analytics team.

  • Maintain and adhere to the application architecture for the SuccessFactors platform through hands-on development.

  • Participate in a dynamic team environment, including frequent team feedback, collaboration, training, unit testing, and code review.

  • Demonstrate ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


  • Bachelors Degree, Masters Degree, or equivalent work experience with at least 6 years of application development experience required.

  • Experience with Java required. Desired areas of familiarity include: Core Java, API usage, JMS knowledge, JPA/Hibernate, TomEE/Tomcat, JSF, JavaScript and UI Charting/SAP UI5/JavaScript Frameworks, Unit Testing (JUnit/Mockito/Qunit.

  • Application of OO principles and use of best practices in application development required.

  • Experience in creation and maintenance of enterprise-grade, secure application architecture, including SOA and messaging systems is desired.

  • Full-Stack use of XML, JSON, CSS, HTML and AJAX technologies.

  • Experience in SQL language (TSQL) and database technologies required (MSSQL).

  • Usage of source control (Git), defect management (JIRA), and build management tools (Jenkins) is a plus.

  • Experience with automation tools such as Selenium a plus.

  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum environment and development is desired.
