SAP is seeking a Tax Specialist to join our team at our Newtown Square. Pennsylvania location. The position is within the Global Tax team handling US sales, use, and various tax compliance responsibilities for all US SAP companies. We are looking for a tax professional interested in learning about indirect taxes for software, Cloud, and software-related services, including the challenges resulting from evolving tax law, new business models, and a dynamic work environment in a growth organization.


  • Sales, use, gross receipts, and miscellaneous tax compliance

  • Personal property tax compliance, including property tax audit management

  • Prepare and review sales and use tax accounts and reserves

  • Various responsibilities including review of customer tax exemptions, handling of customer requested refunds, filing of tax refund claims, etc.

  • Other responsibilities and special projects, as assigned


  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business preferred

  • Three to five years of functional experience desired

  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • MS Office skills

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • CPA, tax research skills, Vertex O Series, SAP, and MS Access skills a plus
