We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) for our growing team. The SDET should bring expertise in the Agile Software Development Lifecycle, Software quality assurance methodologies, White/Grey and end to end automated testing techniques and tools used in Cloud environment. Will be working closely with Product Owners, Software Developers and Program Managers with in a SCRUM team. It is important that the successful candidate have excellent communication skills and hands-on experience with latest automation tools, technologies, and agile practices.

Job Duties include

  • Participate in all levels of design and look closely at code quality and risk to achieve a verifiable test strategy

  • Ability to write production quality code and develop unit testing, automation testing of backend services and APIs

  • Experience delivering white box and grey-box testing solutions, including automation and end-to-end testing

  • Unites with Engineering to understand the design, and enforces a verifiable/testable code

  • Has knowledge of development processes (Agile, SAFe, BDD, TDD, Pair programing)

  • Has knowledge of various Non-UI automated solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • 3 years of overall experience or similar role as a SDET

  • Good understanding of Core Java concepts and principles.

  • Experience in front-end technologies including HTML, DHTML, CSS, JSP and JavaScript, AJAX

  • Good understanding of RDBMS and familiar with HANA/Oracle or other major databases like SQL Server and DB2

  • Experience working in an Agile development environment, preferably SCRUM

  • Familiar with tools like GIT, Eclipse, Jenkins, FindBugs etc

  • Enthusiastic, reliable individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent required
