Summary
We are searching for a Python developer to join our Process Automation Team to work in a global scrum team. We are the Training, Demo and Consulting (TDC) department and support processes for our SAP Learning Cloud and SAP Demo Experience Cloud environments. With these cloud environments we are offering for our customers and partners automated, integrated system landscapes. The team provides 24x5 cloud operations support by developing processes for cloud solutions (like SAP BTP, SuccessFactors, etc) as well as automation processes to reduce manual efforts for our operation teams.
The Role
Are you willing to continuously learn? Are you willing to interact with associated global SAP teams and with our internal customers? Do you have experience with databases? You will work with a focus on automation, tooling, and development. We are looking for a team player with good development and communication skills who wants to work in a global scrum team. Your Profile
3 years work experience
Working experience in Python
Experience in using Scrum, Jenkins, Jira, GitHub, Container and/or Kubernetes, and Virtual Machines.
Knowledge in networks, applications (e.g., third party applications, SAP software), databases, OS (Linux and Windows) and an interest to get deeper knowledge in these topics.
A plus is experience with other programming languages (such as JavaScript, Typescript)
Technical educational background like bachelors or higher. Preferred fields of study in computer science, mathematical, or technical.
In our daily business you will need English language skills , both verbal and writing, to be able to follow the discussions with our global customers and global team members. It is important to have a customer focus and try to bring value to the customer. You will need a cloud mindset and focus on no-ops. You need to be a team player and can work under time pressure.
