SAP Payroll Consultant - LAC in Sao Paulo, Brazil

Role Description:

The purpose of this role is to support regional payroll operations and projects in countries with in-house payroll within NA region. This role acts in accordance with the policies and legal regulations described in defined documents and applied local as well as globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To execute regular daily payroll activities local or regional, working together with the local Payroll SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) and other stakeholders on payroll related tasks within NA

  • Regularly reviews operational tasks, assumptions, recommendations and their deadlines

  • Observation to the updated local labor, tax and social security legislations

  • To provide properly and timely responses and guidance to the employees enquiries

  • To attend the quality standards for payroll operations for seeking to reach the KPIs

  • To provide attendance to the internal or external audits

  • Accuracy / attention to detail / ability to work with confidential information

  • Quality driven and analytical

  • Professional communication skills; both written and verbal

  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines and flexible / adaptable

  • Ability to plan and organize work duties effectively

  • Ability to prioritize work tasks

Education:

  • Successful completed university level or last year (bachelors degree) in one of the following courses: Business Administration, Economics, Accounting or Law.

Practical experience:

  • Strong experience in payroll administration

  • Payroll knowledge operational and payroll processing knowledge required

  • Experience working within a service-oriented environment

System knowledge:

Essential

  • Advanced MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Project)

  • HCM ERP System

Desirable

  • SAP system knowledge

  • HR application knowledge

  • US Income taxation knowledge

Language Skills:

  • Fluent in English
