CONTENT AND GOALS

The digital transformation leads to massive procedural changes in the business world. Data is the foundation for a successful company-wide digital transformation and is therefore becoming an increasingly valuable and critical resource for companies.

SAP is providing solutions for data-driven business with SAP Intelligent Enterprise. We are offering services for guidance, advisory, architect, and delivery of unique and advanced technology to fill the gap in DATA area of solutions for customers business needs in 3 solution areas around DATA:

1. Transition into the Intelligent Enterprise We provide advisory for the best fit migration approach to S/4HANA to customers and drive the business of Selective Data Transition as a global owner of the approach under SAP S/4HANA MOVEMENT program.

2. Data Management We work with other SAP teams to help customer translate business strategy to deep-down technologies/solutions with holistic solution portfolio for customers challenges around data by providing services around Data Management Strategy, Governance, Architect, Data Quality, Master Data, Data Privacy, Data Volume and Retention, Data Integration and Intelligence. We focus on SAP LT Replication Server from technical perspective.

3. System Landscape Optimization (SLO) for the Intelligent Enterprise We have been delivering SLO services with unique technology for more than 20 years for business challenges like M&A, Divestures, Organization Structure changes, Data harmonization like master data, Currency changes, System Consolidations etc. It utilizes the table level migration/conversion technology as SAP product vendor.

This position is a great opportunity to join SAP Global expert community to become a global solution architect and develop career in special strategic technology in SAP.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

As an DM&LT consultant, your job will involve working in a global team focusing on international projects in all regions to realize planned changes in productive SAP applications and system landscapes using DM&LT conversion and migration tools. Trusting, open and committed teamwork together with colleagues, customers and partners are particularly important. The consultant may need to be at the customers site for about 50-60% of their time.

Main tasks would be:

Determine customer needs, as well as carry out system analyzes and feasibility studies

Define the scope and type of needs-based solutions with the customer

Moderate workshops with customers, colleagues and partners, and present work results

Implement customer-specific solutions and use technical SAP consulting solution for this purpose and, if necessary, further develop them

Network and collaborate reliably with colleagues in different areas of SAP in different roles and locations around the world

Develop yourself continuously, share your won experiences and knowledge with colleagues

Further improving, standardizing and expand our range of services together as a team

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Bachelor degree (Master or equivalent is a plus) preferably in computer science

Fundamental knowledge and implementation experience in ERP as ABAP Consultant or Basis Consultant is preferrabble

Understanding of Workflow, Performance Tuning and Database Updates

Functional understanding of one or more ERP modules (FI, CO, MM, SD). Main process, Master Data, Organizational Structure data structure (main tables and fields and their relationship) is a plus

Knowledge and experience in executing data migration and conversion projects, various data migration techniques and approaches, like LSMW is a plus

Interpersonal skills and competencies:

• Good written and spoken English skills

• Good communications/ presentation skills

• Strong problem analysis and solving skill

• Availability to travel

• High customer focus

• Team player, proactive networking attributes, results and execution focus

• High drive & self-starter/-motivated

WORK EXPERIENCE

0-3 years experience in implementing SAP ERP or supporting running SAP ERP implementations at customer site, as a technical consultant

Practical experience with agile working methods and project management is a plus

Interfaces, Data migration and conversion projects experience is a plus
