P&I Enterprise Cloud Services maximizes the success of customers with their SAP solutions in managed, private and public clouds. SAP's Cloud Application Services as part of P&I helps customers to accelerate their Innovation adoption, delivering the flexibility to adapt to business changes, rapidly implement technologies and standardize and optimize operations of SAP centric solutions. The SAP Cloud Application Services clusters the following Services: Managed Innovation & Operations (AMS), Managed Database Services, Managed Testing and Managed Security. The Supplier Management for SAP Cloud Application Services team ensure proper supplier evaluation, governance, performance management and staffing.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

We´re looking for an additional team member to extend our Singapore based Supplier Management team. As a Supplier Manager you will be responsible to evaluate, onboard and manage our global suppliers and service delivery partners.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Run Strategic/Tactical Supplier Management & maintain our supplier portfolio

  • Support in Global Supplier selection & rate card negotiation

  • Support in Global Supplier network management (strategic planning per supplier, individual supplier performance management; supplier visits, relationship building)

  • Support in accounting and controlling

  • Support in alignment with regional SAP stakeholders

  • Alignment with SAP’s Global Purchasing Organization (GPO)

  • Support purchasing guidelines

  • Support in supplier portfolio analysis and evaluate strategic development of suppliers

  • Run Operational Supplier Management

  • Escalation Management

  • Resourcing (bid process)

  • Purchase order handling and staffing

  • Supplier On-boarding & Supplier performance management

  • Trouble shooting & Escalation handling

  • Accounting and controlling (time recording management, cost allocation procedures)

  • Reporting

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Required skills

  • Flexibility to work with different time zones and regions and to handle multiple complex topics in parallel

  • Analytical thinking and decision-making ability

  • Team player with a strong sense of on-hands mentality

  • Profound business acumen and communication with business partners

  • Strong problem-solving capabilities in complex environments

  • Ability to work effectively as a member of a dynamic & global team

  • Ability to establish solid working relationships with team members, suppliers and peer teams.

  • Languages: Perfect command (verbal and written) of English and Portuguese (additional language is a plus, i.e. Spanish)

  • Willingness to travel & adopting intercultural competences

Preferred skills

  • Consistent demonstrated history of successful supplier management or purchaser for services

  • Possess strong sense of teamwork, integrity, self-motivation, positive attitude and creativity

  • Able to rapidly absorb new facts and techniques


  • Motivated to exceed the needs of customers despite internal and external obstacles

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Diploma/Master degree required

  • Working with multi-country/cultural international teams
