PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Our department SAP Cloud Platform Engineering Services provides Continuous Delivery Services for development teams at SAP which develop Services for SAP Cloud Platform and other SAP products.
Within our team, we practice a trust-based working model. If you need to work flexibly from another location or at another time you can do so given your manager’s agreement.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
We’re looking for motivated and talented student who wants to embark on an exciting journey with us to develop and operate our services. Developing software at SAP is more than just writing efficient code - it’s a team effort: starting at product definition and design, including coding, testing and quality assurance.
You will be working in an agile team applying agile development practices and DevOps, requiring the flexibility and the ability to work on different topics.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Above all you should have an open mind. We expect you want to learn a lot of new and cool stuff - new technologies, methodologies, and ways to think out-of-the-box. Ideally, you should have a technical interest, the ability to simplify complexity, and possess sound analytical and problem solving skills. Your proficiency in state of the art programming/scripting languages and concepts e.g. Java, Python are very important for us. You should be experienced in working with Git/Gerrit or GitHub and Jenkins . As part of an international team, we build on your communication skills as a team player and your fluency in English and German .
Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please describe as well your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
